EndNote

To see if any of your EndNote citations are accessible online or in print at the Library, you need to link EndNote to the SIU Medical Library's catalog. Follow the steps below to link EndNote with the Library and find available resources. 

To Link EndNote with the Library catalog:

1. With EndNote open, click on the Edit button on the top left of the screen. Then click on Preferences. 
2. In the Preferences box that appears (see below image), click "Find Full Text" from the options listed on the left side of the box.
3. In the "Open URL Path" field, copy and paste the following URL: https://i-share-SIM.primo.exlibrisgroup.com/openurl/01CARLI_SIM/01CARLI_SIM:CARLI_SIM?. Leave the "Authenticate With" field blank.
4. Click Apply, then click OK.

To Search the Library for an EndNote reference:

1. Select a reference from your EndNote library.
2. In the top left of the screen, click on References, then URL, and then Open URL Link.

This will open an Internet browser to the catalog page for the reference you selected in EndNote. You can login with your OpenAthens credentials to access materials, or request that the Library order it for you if it is unavailable. Please contact the Library if you need any assistance.
